Yes.
People seem to believe that this is only good for the 64 bit version. This is not the case. The 32 bit versions have a max GROSS memory lid of 4gig (plus page file). This max limit has little to do with 2gig memory flags in independent programs.My PURE GUESS as to why looks at big trouble in 64 bit however I don’t think has much to do with memory limits, but rather FILE LOCATIONS.
64 bit OS’s place 32 bit files and programs into very specific locations that are different from 32 bit OS’s. After install your program often ends up looking in the wrong area(s) for its various sub files and sub routines only to find that they are not there.
Drivers are also a huge issue from 32 to 64 bit systems… but I don’t think that’s a concern here.
