March 1, 2012 at 9:34 ami went back to media express to try it out, i made 2 vids the fighting game one in the image was covered in lines and the 2nd was alot better though at certain times i had lines on menus where i was scrolling fast,i randomly and selected avi motion jpeg and thats the results i came up with i was able to capture and everything went pretty smoothly (came up with the dropped frame screen once) there was defo a bit of lag in the preview window but i rocked with it and got a 750mb file and some of it was quite blurry like shown in the pic i had the black magic shuttle control panel settings to have input processing from 1080i to sd letterbox but i dont know if it actually affected it.

March 5, 2012 at 4:14 pmLouie, looking at your screenshot, that’s looks like an interlacing issue. Try inputting and capturing at 720p.

March 5, 2012 at 9:02 pmLooking at your speed test results, you really shouldn’t have any problems capturing in DVCProHD, of course you have to use Premiere Pro to capture if you went that route.

when i tried with dvchdpro it just wont record for more than 2 seconds before frames drop and capture aborts
motionjpeg is the only one that works but its laggy and sound is still glitchy what should i try?
