The Kona 2 doesn’t do a cross-convert from 720 to 1080 or vice versa, unless it was added with the 1.1.4 driver and I didn’t notice.

You know, I could swear a specific plugin developer has been working on this exact request for FCP, but I can’t remember if public development info is under wraps, so I wont mention who it is for now (although I’ll send an email out and point them to this thread in case they want to chime in).

I’m the guy Marco mentions above. I’ve been hit with back trouble recently, which has slowed down my development efforts, but I will eventually get my algorithm working well on video and then you will certainly see an affordable product that does best of class uprezzing. There’s some early test shots on my website, but they’re woefully out of date and the algorithm has been much improved since then. I’m hoping to get it all running on the GPU for real speed though…. Perhaps even as a Motion plugin.
