    Does 5.1 have this problem?

I edit my stammering interviewee, cut away so I can tighten the dialog
    cutting and save.

When I reopen the project, the audio clips are all there visually, but
the regions and actual content of the edited audio is all over the place.

I take it that in 4.5 one must export these audio edited sequences
and reimport as one audio clip.

    What a freakin’ time waster.
This audio region used to happen in the early stages of audio recording
in Cubase back in the days of covered wagons, ten years ago…….

    Tricks of the trade, anyone?????
Or is this the workaround of exporting?

I don’t think the 86-min. doco I’m cutting would ever get finished if I had the audio problems you’ve described. I think your problems might possibly be related to pilot error.

    That’s certainly a help.

    Actually not correct.

It’s happening to with editors BOTH using 4.5HD in two dif locations.

    Doh!

    How about ask more questions…………….
