I have a project that is 1920×1080 23.976 and I want to burn it to a blu-ray. It is only 16:30 long. It size is only 20GB. I would like to burn it to the Bluray to be played on any bluray player. When I try to burn or render it with SONY VEGAS 12 or DVD Archtiect is compresses it down to 3gb. I want to keep the QUALITY as high as possible. PLEASE HELP. I have to figure this out right away.

    Thanks!

    Ryan

The quality is as high as possible for Blu-ray. You don’t get to change that. The Blu-ray spec demands that video is compressed as either MPEG-2, AVCHD, or VC-1. You can’t put uncompressed on a Blu-ray disc and have it play in a Blu-ray player. Either 25Mbps MPEG2 or 16Mbps AVCHD is what DVD Architect will create for you. That’s as good as it gets.
