Syncing timecode
Posted by Sean Lennon on December 11, 2019 at 8:28 pmHi, is there a way to show timecode in my video and my audio bins view so that i can then drag the corresponding ones into a sync bin for syncing?
Cheers!

December 12, 2019 at 12:44 amHey Sean,
If I’m reading your post right, it’s a simple answer. Yes – the columns you want are called “Start” and/or “End” – for start timecode, and end timecode.

Yep, if all audio and video master clips are in one bin, you can select all and ‘autosync’.I don’t think you can sync to a subclip. It has to be master clips. If you need to join subclips with other subclips that’s called a ‘group’.

December 17, 2019 at 10:50 pmHi Michael, is there a way of doing this using timecode, as the subclip changes the timecode start time, so if i drag subclips into a bin with its corresponding audio master clips will autosync work?
Cheers again

December 19, 2019 at 11:43 pmTimecode is correctly maintained in the subclip as the correct offset to its master clip.
