  Soundcount, a great new fcp utility to calculate the playtime of music..

  I just discovered SoundCount. It is a an easy way to calculate the total playtime of commercial sound in a sequence or project. (as it says on their web page.)

  At my work we have to give information to SonyBMG or other record labels if we use their music.. how many seconds of their songs we use.. so that they calculate how much money we have to pay for it..

  This has been done manually before but now it looks like soundcount can to this automatically.. !! I still haven’t tried it out yet (xml bug thingy).. but it looks like an insane timesaver
