Sony XDCAM MXF plays on PC viewer but not on my mac

Hey all,

I had my camera crew sending me MXF file shot on SONY “PDW-700”

I tried to import to my project using XDCAM transfer I Dloaded from sony website

I cant play it I just get empty folder with 0 Files.

bbut when I downloaded PC XDCAM viewer I was able to play with no problem.

Whats wrong?

Do I need the XML file also?
is it possible to export to MOV in PC so I can import it later to my mac/?

you need the xdcam driver w/the transfer program.?

I thought the driver is supllied with the Sony XDCAM program.

Can you please give me a link to the proper DRIVER? THANK!
