Try toi convert it with X-Media Recode, I find that is a well featured free converter.

Thanks I did that and made it mp4 it works great but I imported my video then it was fine I closed vegas and opened it again, and the clips start jitters, skipping, and repeating.

https://youtu.be/jWagdSt0FFs this is actually what it is doing, not sure why it is doing that now, this is my video I hope it helps to figure out that problem

So to ask a seemingly moot question, but I have too, the original AVI is not doing that?

Where specifically did you get these AVI files?

I assume you are bringing the file into Vegas because you want to edit it. If that’s true, MP4 is a poor choice of formats and is probably why it’s behaving this way.

Convert the file to Motion-JPEG video with PCM audio AVI file with a tool like AviDemux and it should play and edit fine in Vegas.

I believe what Sean was asking is, does the original do that when played in a media player (not Vegas)?

See my reply. Your problem is probably the format you selected to convert it to.

Was your 8, 9, & 10 32-bit versions of Vegas Pro and is your 11 the 64-bit version by any chance?
