This occurs to me occasionally in Vegas, but I usually do not see anything in the properties. You are seeing half a screen. A restart of Vegas usually restores normality.

Try resetting Vegas by holding down ctrl and shift
while launching it, this will place things back to its
factory default settings…Hopefully this will work for you.

Sorry Amith, i meant reinstall Vegas, but try what Steve suggests first.

Have you set the DPI on your Windows fonts to anything other than the default? Messing with Windows fonts and DPI is the usual cause for windows being cut off like that.

i tried restore factory setting option it didnt work for me 🙁

i didnt change DPI of my Windows fonts, is any option to check ? if its changed ?..

i am using winXp Sp3, 4 GB Ram.

Right-click on your desktop and select Properties. Then go to the Settings tab and press the Advanced button. The DPI setting is on the General tab. It should be set to Normal size (96 DPI)
