I ended up reinstalling. It worked.
Sorry for all the trouble, but I REALLY wanted to leave this as a last resort.

Hey so I’m having problems trying to see the pan/crop window (like Heather). How would you change the resolution for the page? I’m sorry, none of the trouble-shooting solutions worked for me. Thanks for your time and help! (:

On your desktop, right-click, select Properties and click Settings.
You should see a slider labeled Screen Resolution.
Note what it’s currently set to as you’ll set it back to this later.
If it’s not at the top setting, increase it to the next level.
There will typically be another prompt or two that comes up that should be self explanatory.
Remember to set the slider back to normal after you fix your problem.
