Sony Vegas 10 only showing top left corner of my videos

Is this the .TS file from recording as AVCHD? That works for me.

I’m having the EXACT same problem! MP4 format was working when I did 480p when I captured in 720p it only showed the top left corner 🙁

When I try Playstation 3 or AVCHD format Vegas freezes 🙁

Hi, I had the same issue until I stopped using the saved xbox360 format option, use the AVCHD option when you start the HDPVR software to record and it should open just fine in vegas. Hope I helped!

Yea, it’s really important for HD PVR owners to understand that the formats are SAVE formats and have nothing to do with what you are recording. People get confused and select Xbox360 because they are recording Xbox gameplay. That’s not the way it works.

If you select XBOX360, you will get files that are meant to be played back on an XBOX360. This has nothing to do with the fact that you are recording from an XBOX360. So you should always use AVCHD if you want to use the recorded files on a PC.

Now If I Save Them In a AVCHD Or The Playstation Format My Sony Vegas Crashes Someone Help Could Be Highly Appreciated

The AVCHD format will created .TS files that edit fine in Vegas. If you are having problems with this format it may be a codec conflict. Make sure that you don’t have any codec-paks installed (like K-Lite) as these will interfere with Vegas’ normal operation.

Thank you i figured out how to get it working i convert the AVCHD with a HD Video Converter to a .wmv file and it works fine and vegas thanks for your help.

WMV is a horrible format to be editing and will introduce it ‘s own problems. I wouln’t use that if I were you. You would be much better of converting them to HDV using the MainConcert MPEG2 format.
