Sony Vegas 10 only showing top left corner of my videos

I have tried that i seem to have figured out what the problem is, the videos are in MP4 format when i change them to other formats everything works just fine, but its a hassle changing the format after recording them as mp4. I googled some information and no luck and @Tom yes we both need team viewer installed its free software, about 10am sounds good to me as well email me when your on.

If you are using the Hauppauge HD PVR you should be recording them as AVCHD format. This will edit correctly in Vegas.

Hello there JR… I am Currently using the HD PVR and recording from my xbox 360…. the HD PVR will only let me record in mp4… How do i go about doing this?

I too ma using the HD PVR and trying to use Sony Vegas Pro… How did you change your format from MP4 to What ever format? And what format did you use? i been at this forever now 🙁

The HD PVR recording software can record in 3 formats. You change it at the bottom left of the interface. Select AVCHD instead of XBOX or Playstation. It will create .TS files that are compatible with Sony Vegas.

Change the format to AVCHD in the recording software.
