SONY DVD ARCHITECT 6 SUBTITLE FILE error?
Hi,
I have a .sub file exported for use as subtitle for Sony DVD Architect 6.
When I am importing the file the software is giving an error
“An error occured importing the file. The problem cannot be determined’

I corrected it but it is still giving the same error.
I am using a trial version…does it has some kind of limitations?

Sorry I didn’t notice this sooner. Your format is all wrong. DVD Architect subtitle files need the following format:
0001 00:02:01:04 00:02:07:08 "Bird dancing around the trees.../Ndragonflies in the field..."0002 00:02:08:04 00:02:14:08 /Nmy dear you dance."
0003 00:02:15:08 00:02:21:00 “Catch me if you can.../NCatch me if you can...”
Each subtitle must start with a sequence number, followed by white space, followed by the start time, followed by white space, followed by the end time, followed by white space, followed by the text. You must also have a blank line in between each subtitle.The “/N” will not cause new lines and will simply display. If you really want to add a new line in your title start it on a new line like this:
0001 00:02:01:04 00:02:07:08 "Bird dancing around the trees...
dragonflies in the field..."0002 00:02:08:04 00:02:14:08 my dear you dance."
0003 00:02:15:08 00:02:21:00 “Catch me if you can...

This is why DVD Architect can’t load your file.~jr
