    Hi all,

Another roto brush question (thanks for all your patience to this point). Roto brush seems to be propagating too often for no apparent reason; for example, if I’m roto brushing a 500 frame clip, get to frame 250, and switch comps briefly, it will need to repropagate everything when I get back– without my having changed anything.

As great as roto brush is, it’s far from perfect, and repropagating for no reason can cause it to undo touchup work that I’ve already done. Anyone have a similar experience?

The Roto Brush propagation information is stored in RAM. If you’re starving your system of RAM and switch to another context, the Roto Brush cache information will have to get dumped from RAM so that your other context can be loaded.
