I recently upgraded my ex1 from 1.26 to 1.30 and now the SDI out does not work.
I have checked that firewire is disabled and checked with multiple monitors – the output is dead.
Is there any way i can try and reload 1.26 as it was working with that version.
I have tried local sony agents but no luck.

I haven’t got an EX1 here to look at, but it may be worth noting down your important settings and then doing a system reset.

Do you have the procedure for reloading firmware as the version up tool does not allow reflashing

I have been searching everywhere for firmware and just couldn’t find anything other than 1.30.
Do you have a recommended procedure for reflashing.
I have read in the forums that i should reload 1.13 as it might not have been installed from a previous upgarde.

Hi James.
I’ve sent a Dropbox link.
When you say reflashing, do you mean to the same version?
If it doesn’t let you go back to the previous version, the only thing I would suggest trying is maybe loading v1.14, as that has a different type of installer.

Quite a few people in this thread have reloaded 1.05 and gone up from there with no (major) issues. The only problems I’ve read about is that the original installer only seems to work with older versions of windows.
It gets mentioned a couple of times in this thead … if you can find it 🙂
