I am trying to import a few files into After Effects 6.5. The problem that I’m having is that as soon as I import them, I get the message: After Effects cannot open… unsupported color mode. I need to know how to change the color mode of my file, or what color mode I need to change the file to so it can be imported.
    Thanks in advance!

What kind of file is it? Where did it come from?

AE doesn’t support CMYK, Lab, and a few other obscure color modes, you’ll need to open the file in Photoshop (or whatever applications supports the type of file) and change the color mode. The option in Photoshop is under Image > Mode.
