problems with FCP 5.1.4 & AJ-PCS060 (“p2 store”)
What a bummer! The new window for ingesting p2 is cool, but it doesn’t really work.
Most of the footage would not come in. Maybe it was the footage?
So I uninstalled 5.1.4 and reinstalled 5.1. The footage came in fine.RH

Shane Ross is having this exact same problem. Head on over to the p2 forum. It is best if you copy the cards off of the p2 store first and them import. I have FCP 5.1.4 (on my laptop) and use a P2 store and do not have any issues importing p2 material.

Yep. I can’t import with FCP 5.1.2 or 5.1.4, but 5.1.1…not a problem.
Working on it. I think it is a camera firmware issue. Go to the P2 forum and read up. Look for the threads with my name and you will see.

I have had no issues importing P2 media from P2 store, using 5.1.2. Have not tested yet with 5.1.4 but will do so soon. Based on other reports, I keep waiting for something to go wrong but so far it has been working OK.
