  • problem with multiple files in multiclip creation in FCP 7

I just shot a concert with 6 cameras. They were sync’d to each other with a timecode.
I shot on Sony cams. Some cameras filmed continuously, others where stop and start. Since they were filming for hours, the camera automatically created multiple vid-files on the continuous as well as the stop/start cameras.

I transfered the footage to FCP 7 and labled each file’s Angle to the camera it was shot on.

Now I went to create a multiclip editing sequence. The problem is that each clip is coming up as its own angle, instead of part of a continuous timecode for the Angle(camera) on which it was filmed. Each file is playing in its own place in the viewer.

    Hope this is clear.

Any advice on how to make them come up as only 6 Angles based on the camera it was shot on?
