June 19, 2015 at 9:43 amI have exactly the same problem but months later.
I’m on a MBP on 10.10.3 with Premiere CC 2014 and 2015 and the playhead is going crazy.
Does anyone at Adobe have a fix for this ?
thanks a lot ! -

June 20, 2015 at 12:27 amFYI, i’ve had this same issue only since upgrading to Yosemite…The fun part is if you in and out a clip, chuck it on the timeline, and it gives you a different in and out…..

October 2, 2015 at 2:04 amJust a heads up that this is happening in both El Capitan and CC 2015

October 9, 2015 at 6:38 pmI’d like to echo what Julien said. This is driving me nuts! It was happening before I upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan, too. Is anyone aware of a fix yet?

October 13, 2015 at 5:27 pmI’m having the same issues with Premiere Pro CC 2015.0.2 on El Capitan. I didn’t have any issues with Yosemite, but that’s probably because I updated Premiere and the OSX on the same day.
Are there any fixes yet? This is really annoying and it slows me down considerably.

October 28, 2015 at 3:42 pmHi, I’m having the same exact problem. It’s really annoying! Been having it since CC 2014.
EXAMPLE:
https://youtu.be/RqT79AZgtJUHere’s what I am running:
Adobe Premiere CC 2015 (fully updated)
OSX 10.11
AJA Playback Hardware (doesn’t matter if it’s on or off)
Mac Trashcan with 32GB of Ram
AMD FirePro D700 6144 MB
Promise P2 R8 RAID DriveSeems to do it more with higher compressed files, but really it does it all of the time. Sucks big time.
