Playback stalls on Network Drives

OSX handles the network traffic differently than Windows. Also do you have GPU acceleration capable cards in the Mac systems?

Go to 1 of the Windows systems and then under Master Project settings. Under Playback settings you should see “Use optimized Playback display mode during Playback”. Checkmark that box and see if there is any difference.

Turns out that was already checked on so it didn’t help.

Well beyond that I would need to remote in and see what advance settings if any are available for those adapters. You may end up looking at 8Gbit or 10Gbit adapters with lower latency options to get this resolved.
