Now you got me…I was reading this post because I was having the same situation from my last shoot. I shoot on p2 cards, transfer those to a folder on a hard drive, then when I get back to the studio, I ingest them into FCP 5.1. Everything works great…except one folder (out of 4 other ones that worked). When I try to import, it crashes my FCP, or gives me a beep like there is nothing there. I look in the folder and I can see there are eight mxf clips, all the folders in their proper place, etc. But it won’t import. Trying to think what might have happened during the shoot…1. after importing p2 onto the drive, I forgot to properly eject the card, causing this card to be corupt when new footage is on it?!? I noticed the file is only 2.5 gig big when it should be the 4gig or 8gig depending on what card I used, since I don’t change cards till they are full, and I only use one card at a time….

Shane, anybody can you please help me out one this one?…

    Thanks,
    Tim
