OT: For those that care about WWDC

Just wanted to put my name on the list of ticked off users.

The express card slot on my 15″ is the most important function I have.
Editing on location with AJA I/O, working on planes. I’ve never wanted to lug around a 17inch.

As a pro user I want options. Telling me I now only have one laptop to choose from, that costs more is a good way of planting the seeds of doubt about a brand in dedicated users and supporters. That seems really dumb to me.

Everyone one has different preferences over what they need. Trying to make everyone like only one choice just seems stupid.

I hope my old macbook pro holds out long enough to see Apple correct this in future versions.

I thought the 17″ was too big until I bought mine.
Now the 15″ looks too small for me . When you get old and start to use glasses a couple of inches made a huge difference.
But the real issue is the Express slot. I don’t know what they eat the boys of Apple when they decided to eliminate it. We lost a 3Gbps interface for an USB2. Congratulations Apple.
