A couple of hours after the fact, usually.

Snow Leopard can use 16 billion GBs of RAM. That’s crazy talk.

But can it do a real time transition in 4:4:4?

When does the video of the keynote usually go online?

The most interesting thing so far is that the new 15″ MacBooks will drop the Express Card slot in favor of an SD Card slot. Only the 17″ retains the Express slot.

[Chris Babbitt] “the new 15″ MacBooks will drop the Express Card slot in favor of an SD Card slot. Only the 17″ retains the Express slot.”

How stupid is that? DAMN STUPID. This shuts out the AJA I/O HD (because it uses the ONE FW bus your computer has), the MXO2 (that connects via Express34) and the MXO2 mini and I/O Express…that also connect via Express34. So the MacBook Pro is now NOT a Pro model for video. Only a pro for…business and photographers? And people who shoot RED onto SD cards? Or does red shoot to CF cards.

Further evidence that they are becoming more and more a CONSUMER oriented company. Well, we knew this, they were from the start, but they think consumer first, then proapp second.

I’ll wager the iPhone has 4x more advances than FCP does. I want FCP to unlock my car!

It’s over, and, as usual, it’s all about the iPhone. Nothing on the ProApps. Oh well, maybe NAB 2010.

[Peter Wiggins] “In fact there was much more OS stuff than last year “

..and I imagine that’s when we will see a big update to FCP around the September Snow Leopard release. It just seems to make sense.

As somebody who was sitting in row 11, it wasn’t all about the iphone. In fact there was much more OS stuff than last year
