It was announced a month ago (here in this forum too), but I still haven’t
seen an announcement on price. The linked post says between $500-800 USD.

No clue on that, but we just re-invested in BitVice from innobits as that now takes advantage of all the cores in a Mac Pro. Renders are almost realtime on an OctoCore. About 32 minutes for a 26 minute video for DVD.

Quality is on par with professional DVD’s and makes Compressor’s “high quality” look like bad DV. They have an HD version in development and I’m hoping that comes out soon as well.

[Tom Wolsky] “Did you ever use Episode Walter?”

No, but some friends do and they love it. I’ve just used BitVice in the past and it works so well I really didn’t see the need to go with anyone else at this time.

    Tom,

As a happy Episode user for a while now, I wonder what your take on it is, and I would ask everyone how it compares with this CinemaCraft thing?

    Have a wonderful day.

    Michael,

Since I gave away my winning ticket for the full Adobe Suite last month, do I get any special dispensation?

I did a search on Ken’s site (tried 2 keywords: Cinemacraft and Brian Gary), and it doesn’t show up anywhere.
