February 20, 2015 at 11:57 pmSo, Ze’ev, you have that glitching OUTSIDE of Premiere, too?
I’m about to buy the laptop you have, but not if the GPU is still FUBAR.

February 21, 2015 at 12:05 amRarely outside of Premiere … and not at all since I stopped using CUDA (just OpenCL) – but renders/exports are significantly slower.

February 21, 2015 at 1:21 amDoes anyone know how to best cause this to happen so I can show the tech when I go to Apple Store?

February 21, 2015 at 7:26 pmSame thing here. I’m using the latest beta of Yosemite since I have a developer account. It doesn’t make a difference. Im sure Nvidia Cuda is the culprit. Amazing how long it takes between Apple, Adobe and Nividia to figure things out. For Nvidia to go into total denial (I read the reply from their support from a different user) is just bad. At least Peter from Adobe is with us on this which kind of feels a little better. Im on a late 2013 Retina Mac Book Pro. Ive already sent a bug report to Apple and so should everyone here . Sharing the problem here is a good thing, but unless Apple receives actual bug reports on this a solution could be even further away.

February 21, 2015 at 9:02 pmWell today, Miraculously I am working on a project in AE and PPro CC2014 in Yosemite and I am not having an issue. I installed a clean version of Yosemite yesterday as well as CC and plugins. The only thing I did differently was later yesterday I repaired permissions and I went in and switched all programs to Open CL. AE, PPro and Media Encoder. so far so good…

February 21, 2015 at 10:02 pmBrian, as far as I read this thread noone had this problem with glitchy graphics when switching from Cuda to Open CL. But switching to Open CL means the Nvidia card is not used for rendering etc which slows render times down a bunch.

February 21, 2015 at 10:33 pmI also have no problem if I use OpenCL. I thought that wasn’t the issue here.
The problem for me is with CUDA, which, when it works, is much faster.Or are you saying you switched to OpenCL then back to CUDA and it’s working?
