Hiya, I’m trying to line up two things to put them in sync, but dragging with the mouse is not accurate enough, is their a way to drag one frame at a time? Not to advance in the movie, but actually move the “block”.

It would probably be easier if you parented the two tracks to a third one and used Parent Motion to control them both together. I have a tutorial that shows you how on my web site:

Well the thing is there both the audio from the same film and I just want to sync them. Just so I’m not wasting your time with mundane stuff lol. Would it work? Want a screenshot of what I mean?

[Social Crime] “Want a screenshot of what I mean?”

That would probably be helpful because I don’t think I understand what you are trying to do.

I can sync them without having to do that if there’s a way to move a particular block little by little under the other one. I really appreciate your help on this. I’m in no way being unappreciative, but this is easier done by baby stepping the piece of media.
You know how alt and the arrows move along and watch it? I wanna move the block of audio slowly to line it up perfect. 😉

I just want a hotkey to move any track step by step down the timeline.

Can you not just select the block you want to move and press “1” for left and “3” for right? Also, you may have to zoom into your timeline a bit to get down to one-frame increments.

You have to use the 1 & 3 keys on the Numeric Keypad not the ones above the keyboard.
