Forums › Maxon Cinema 4D › Mirroring a spline?

September 1, 2011 at 1:52 amI have made a spline in C4D and want to mirror it so it can extrude symetrically. I have tried for a while now and can’t figure out how to do it. Could anyone please lend some info?
Here is a picture of my project.
I’m trying to mirror the spline to the left side of the Y axis, and then join everything up so both sides become 1 spline.
Also, is it possible to edit the spline’s bezier curves between two points after i’ve made it?

September 1, 2011 at 12:43 pmHave you tried using a symmetry object? You could use that to mirror it then connect both half’s.
As for editing the bezier curves between two points after you made it you would have to add another point using the knife tool if that’s what you talking about.
hope this helps

After making the SYMMETRY OBJECT Editable (“c”), use “JOIN SEGMENTS”, or you will have a spline with Starts/Ends at both ends.
