Activity Forums Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro – XBOX360 Capture – No Video

I have an Xbox 360 Elite and Intensity Pro card. Everything has been working great for about two weeks. But now the card won’t pick up any video from the Xbox.

I’ve swapped out the Xbox with another media source (my computer) and the card works fine. And I’ve hooked up the Xbox with one of my monitors and it works too.

The only thing I can think is some kind of setting problem. But I didn’t change anything and since it stopped working I’ve toyed with every setting, driver, or wire I can think of.

Previously I had my Xbox set to 1080i, same for the capture card in the control panel.

hey there, I found out that, if you havent set the xbox or ps3 to the exakt specs from the card’s capture program it wont show anything in the capture window.

I dont know if this helps, but make sure u got the exakt same resolution and fps settings.

so my workflow is: hook the box via component to the tv, set it to 720p (or whatever you want), than adjust your settings from the capture program to the same, plug the cable fromn the tv to the capture card and reopen the captureprogram till it gets an image.

connecting via hdmi might cause the xbox to re-adjust the settings to something different. it can not sense the outputchanges via component since it’s analog…no expert, just guessing.

    good luck!
