Importing avi files into Adobe Primiere Pro
When I import avi files I get only black frames in the sequence windows, the audio comes through fine. The file plays fine in the clips window and with MS player. I have rendered the avi type 1 file with the primiere rendering function but this does not seem to help.
The file used a codec by supermac.
Any ideas??

Do you have the supermac codec installed on your computer? I’ve never heard of that codec, it’s possible it may not play nicely with Premiere.
Googling it… Supermac is a company. Which codec of theirs are you using?
