I know I drag the footage to Timeline. But I have a lots of work. I capture, edit and export lot of files in hours. I am in the Recording Room. Recently I Install FCP HD version. Again I am askint the same Is this possible that The Capture Footage comes to TimeLine.

You cannot capture directly into the timeline. FCP isn’t designed that way. Nor are most, if not all, non-linear computer based editors.

I hate to be the one to say it, but Avid can. For about 7 years now. Insert or overwrite. It’s one awesome feature that would be a nice addition to fcp. Very simple implementation. In the capture window there’s an overwrite and insert button. If you have that engaged, when you capture a clip in goes into a bin and into the timeline just like a regular 3 point edit.

think GVG NewsEdit, Quantel QEdit, Avid Newscutter etc

But I am sitting in front of an Avid right now…Meridian system…with the Digitize Tool open and I dont’ see what you are talking about.

however, im sure there would be ways to streamline your workflow,
using keyboard comands, etc

I work nights. Night editor. My shift starts at 7 PM. The hours stink, but they, it’s a living…

There’s only one more step or two to get it into the timeline. First, in the timeline put your playhead to the end of the last clip. Select all of the clips in the bin (or select the clips that you have just digitized) and hit f10, which is a keyboard shortcut for overwrite. It will put them in numerical/alphabetical order in the timeline if you select multiple clips at one time.
