You have to drag them. You can’t F0 multiple clips, and you can’t F10 from the browser, only from the viewer.

Well if you’re really wanting it to go straight to the timeline, and it’s not a delicate insert or overwrite edit, but instead lots of edits, just digitize them in order (and label 1,2,3,4, etc.) and then drag them all to the timeline or to the canvas where you could actually add transitions at the same time.

It’s a neat avid feature, but certainly not a deal breaker.

Copy/Paste works from Browser to Timeline. Still L&C window should be more similar to the Viewer including F10, F9 and Marker shortcuts. Long overdue.

I do this a lot. number all the scenes in the bin (don’t forget the leading zeros). then drag them onto the insert in the canvas. voila! all laid out in the timeline. then just clean up the edit points.
