how to render video so that it plays in modern browsers?
I have a video which must be rendered as 640×480 and must be playable in all modern HTML5 browsers. So e.g. it should be possible to open in Chrome like this:
file:///path/video.mp4
and it should play (can be other than mp4)So far, I’ve tried 2 render settings in Vegas and both don’t play in Chrome (the first plays in FF and IE, the second only in IE):
Adjusted “Main Concept AVC/AAC”:
Audio: 128 Kbps; 48 000 Hz; 32 Bit; Stereo; AAC
Video: 25 fps; 640×480 Progressive; YUV; 2 Mbps
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,000and
Adjusted “Sony AVC/AAC”
Video: 25 fps; 640×480 Progressive; YUV; 8 Mbps
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,000Is there any rendering setting compatible with all browsers and is generally considered safe?
