how to render video so that it plays in modern browsers?

February 4, 2013 at 9:45 amHmm… Just checked on my friend’s laptop and it’s playing on his Chrome. Very strange. Maybe it is dependent on installed codecs etc… It shouldn’t be. I’ve turned off all extensions. Anyways, perhaps it’s not a very reliable method, because you never know what the website audience has on their computers (not mentioning that in FF it is not playing in any case). But as you say, all 3 formats are needed to fully comply to the standard, so I’ll use other tools to render and check again.

It’s an extension for Firefox, that is based on well-known FFmpeg library -
