How can we do realtime FCPro output through iChatAV in Tiger like Apple did at NAB?

wow. this looks really cool. I am a little confused, however. Do you need the showmacster software to do this or not? Also, how good is the quality of the video feed coming from FCP?

Hey Bryan,

If you just want an easy way to playout QT movies/pictures from your computer (through iChat AV) Showmacster is the way to go.

No hassles and you don’t even have to do anything from my long post. It’s a very cool app!

But if you want real-time out of FCPro, things get a little more complicated, and then you would need to do try the stuff I mentioned.

Oy yeah the resolution…

Unfortunately it’s not that great in Panther but is supposed to be really good in Tiger thanks to H.264!
