You could create a Quicktime animation file, with no compression at all. The files, predictably, can be gi-normous.

Alternatively, go with a lossless, lightly compressed format like one of the Avid DNxHD codecs. You may have a slightly less gi-normous file.

I have installed Avid DNxHD from https://cdn.avid.com/Codecs/LE/2.7.3/0B9447EC/CodecsLE_2.7.3_Win.zip
and I cannot seem to see the option within Premiere 2017 11.1.0(222) Build in windows 10
I don’t know what went wrong.
Any tips to be able to see that option ” Avid DNxHD codecs” within premiere please

After install DNxHD codecs you have to restart your computer – In Premiere the DNxHD are under Quicktime !

You don’t need to install any AVID codecs with Premiere CC 2017, the DNxHD codecs (.mxf) are built-in already

But if I don’t select quicktime I have DNxHR/DNxHD .
if that’s what you mean do I select DNxHQ …
if so
do I select 1080p DNxHD HQ-8-bit under Video Resolution

Do you not have the default DNxHDformat option available to you? This should be in Premiere without installing additional codecs.

Select a Preset to match the footage, for instance DNxHD HQ 1080p 29.97 are whatever matches. Don’t be intimidated by the 100+ presets. One of those at top of list should be fine, the rest are for higher bit-depth, or 4K, etc.
