[Wayne Marx] “[sorry, don’t know how to embed images] “

    Wayne,

If you can’t figure out how to embed images here, you should give up this business immediately and go sell insurance. Come on man, take two minutes to figure it out, the way you’re doing it now is big pain in the butt for us who try to help you…

Look at the little icons above where you write Cow posts and click on the third one from the right that looks like a circle wearing a matador’s hat. I promise, you can figure it out from there. It does not accept TIFFs BTW.

    Hi Dave,

Let me rephrase – I am unable to embed images.
I went through the process via the pop-up – and I’m getting an “Image Uploaded” message – but for some reason, my Firefox isn’t displaying the image, nor is the pop-up spitting out “embed” or “link” data.

Hence I had to do it the old-fashioned way.

    But thanks all the same.

You click on the image name once it’s uploaded

You’re absolutely correct Wayne, both the still and movie icons are completely missing. You should post this on the Cow Feedback Forum. I’m going to do it right now, but it would certainly help for you to chime in and verify it by posting a message on the thread I’m going to start there.

Sorry for jumping down your throat man. It’s just that I get really frustrated when people don’t use the tools. It;s different however when the tools aren’t even available, so I do apologize.

Wayne is right Jeremy, Firefox doesn’t have the necessary tools at all… See below:

No problem David, I understand the frustration. I’ll post over at the COW feedback form.

And thanks Jeremy for the tip – and to Rafael for embedding my
    errant interface.

As you can see, the audio’s “Preview” button is missing – along with a whole lot of other controls. Hmmm?

    Any takers on a fix?

    Thanks again in advance,

    Wayne

I haven’t captured HDV before, but are you using FireWire as capturing to ProRes?

    Hi,

Thanks – I’m actually capturing from HDV tape via Firewire to the HDV codec.
