h.264 HD – Audio and video stream as one
Hi.
Probably off by a chunk here, but I’d like to export an h.264.mov at 1080 and 720 with the audio included in the stream.
Is this the same hitch for Compressor as with mpeg-2’s (you’ll have to mux them afterwards) or is there a trick?Gunleik

That format includes both audio and video. It doesn’t separate them like MPEG-2.

When I choose HD h.264 in Compressor (still on 5.04 on my main system) I have to choose encoding for audio & video separately.
I’ll do some testing.
Seems I can assemble a good setup with quicktime (testing right now.)

In compressor, choose QT 7 WEB STREAMING or QT 7 WEB DOWLOAD. There it is separate.
I think the H.264 option you are choosing is for HD DVDs…or is that what you want?

Yes I wanted the HD-DVD quality.
