Global FX To A Bunch of Clips?
Hi All!
I have a sequence filled with a lot of clips that are scaled differently, etc., and was wondering how can I add a global FX to the whole sequence – not just only to one clip.
The FX involves a vignette (besides color correction) that would not make sense on the scaled down clips, if that makes sense.Is there a way to ad an “adjustment layer” much like you have in After Effects?

No adjustment layer. But just like AE, you can pre-comp the sequence, then add the FX.

but… I am still in the same dilemma in the precomp – suspecting that you are talking about nesting sequences… right?

No, I’m not sure I follow you?
If you nest the sequence, you will only need to apply the FX to the nest, which will include all the clips.
Try it first, to see if it does what you need.Todd at UCSB

bingo! That did it.I did this before but when I double clicked the resulted clip in the time line, it brought me to the nested sequence instead o having it opened in the viewer. All I had to do is just that – right click and “Open in viewer” – an I was able to apply the fx –
