When working on my current project, I am getting these errors:

And here are my system specs:

    Intel i7 920 @ 2.67 ghz
    RAM: 9 GB
    Windows Vista 64-bit
    700GB HD

This seems to happen more when the project is large, i.e. alot of different media and effects. I’m not sure Vegas is capable of handling a lot of effects and I am thinking of moving back to Premiere. But I just want to be sure it isn’t something that only requires a setting be changed or something else simple. I have also contacted Sony support.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Try this: delete all the files from (make a backup copy first somewhere just in case) :

    C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Sony\File Templates\aviplug

Also, how much free space do you have on your C drive? If C drive were to be running low, this could happen.

Let us know how you go.
