Flip Footage 180* / Apply Motion Attributes to Multiple Clips

That you have RT playback doesn’t mean that there is no rendering.
Every effect applied, any change in the Motion tab means rendering, so a generation lost (unless you are in Uncompress).
The QT turn system imply no rendering. Just say to the player read in a different order.

Maybe your 35mm adapter flips differently than mine, but I can assure you that only flipping (FLOP) VERTICALLY will leave my actors on the wrong side of the screen. Therefore, BOTH is what it takes to restore the image.

Exactly, it’s upside down and backwards. The flop filter is the best, but there’s rendering involved. If you take it out to color, you will have to grade upside down as well.
