November 15, 2018 at 8:51 pmSince some of you were ragging on Resolve for playing “catch up”, let me point out that Workflow Extensions and Batch Share are merely features that “catch up” to similar features in Premiere Pro ☺

November 15, 2018 at 8:55 pmWow. Actual visual timecode of all clips playing on the timeline.
I missed this feature so much.
It seems that FCPX caches all the Projects when you open the Library now, so it gets that long annoying process out of the way first, which is nice.
OK, time to test frame.io!!!!

So like every other NLE waveform re-drawing doesn’t slow the timeline down now?

Not quite sure yet, but there’s also been updates to MXF file reading which is great. I know you work with XAVC a lot (so do I) and it’s much better.

Well 10.44 just landed here (delays due to turbulence over the English Channel) and it’d definitely quicker with a 4K XAVC project that I currently have running. Fingers crossed, it would be a major bonus for me.
