November 16, 2018 at 6:30 pmSomething new in 10.4.4 :
Just installed the update and all was going well UNTIL I was suddenly no longer able to play clips in the browser! None of the keyboard commands to play work in th browser, while the project timeline functions normally. Any one else seeing this?
My hardware is a 2013 iMac running Mojave and ten dot four dot four. -

November 16, 2018 at 7:03 pmLook at the columns you have showing in the browser (you may need to scroll right to see them all). Are the columns for Video/Audio roles showing? If so, when you hit play, does it expand the roles column or twirl down your clip when you hit play instead of playing the footage? If so, hide those columns. You may need select another event then go back to the original vent to get it working again.

November 16, 2018 at 7:15 pmSo nearly everytime I post on the Cow about my computer misbehaving, it corrects its bad behavior.
1) I closed X and re opened my library> no change
2) I closed X and re started my computer , opened the library > no change
3) I posted on The Cow
4) re opened library checked to amke sure i was in the right workspace & Voila its all working again. GO figure.

I wonder if Apple views as an ersatz form of multi-editor collaboration?
