Premiere has cross fade, film fade or make your own with bezier curves.———————————————–

May 17, 2015 at 7:26 pmThe big difference is that you can fade out and in by applying one transition (Final Cut Pro 7) as oppose to adding 2 transitions and space (In Adobe Premiere Pro CC) between the two.
I’m fairly new to Premiere Pro CC, and I’m trying to streamline my workflow.

May 17, 2015 at 11:53 pmNo. It is a fade out, fade in transition that you can apply to two clips joined together.

That’s exactly what PPro’s dip to black/white transition does. Drop it on an edit point and it will fade out the out-going clip and then fade-in on the incoming clip.
