everything white when still
here’s one i’ve never seen before…
All media on my system shows up as a white screen when still. Hit play and it plays normally – you can see it. Resize the shot.. say make it into a small rectangle and only that rectangle is white.. but hit play and it plays normally. Same for native media as for rendered media. But titles appear normally when still.
Just trying to think. Have I done anything to the box lately? Installed Google Chrome brower is all.
Anyone ever see this?? pain in the @55.
Running fcp 6.0.6 on a 2.4 ghz iMac with 4 gigs of ram, os X.5.8

Make sure the viewer or canvas or wherever you’re viewing is set to RGB and not to alpha. You do this in the view popup.
