I’m working on a video consisting of many clips and audio. How do I move all of it forward from a particular point to allow more space for a clip at the start whilst keeping it ordered correctly? I don’t want to move the clips and associated audio at the start of the video.

Thanks, I’m a beginner to Premiere pretty much.

Use the track select tool and hold down shift to select multiple tracks at any point in your timeline. Or manually select all of your clips and drag them where you want them.

If you want to insert a clip from the bin somewhere into the existing edits, hold the CTRL key while dragging the clip to the sequence, and when you drop the clip in between two other clips, everything to the right will shift over.

Alternately, zoom out far enough to see all your clips in the sequence, and click-drag the mouse to highlight all the clips you want to move, and once that group of clips is highlighted, you can drag the group to the right with the mouse to open a gap.

    Thanks
