    Hey All,

Long time reader, first time poster! Great site!

I need to make an angel to leave a light trail of stars generating from it’s movement.

I’ve kind of gotten there a bit with particle playground & parenting it to my animated comp, but was wondering if there’s a better way to make the trail follow the animated image but still follow the bottom of the screen as it’s gravitational pull. Would Particle World be better? Couldn’t really figure out how to move the particle generation without moving the gravitational base.

Any help would be very appreciated, thanks!

In CC Particle World when you keyframe the producer it shouldn’t change the gravity direction at all.

thanks michael, i’m totally green with Particle World.

Fixed this by creating a copy of the star layer, masking out what I needed then putting an echo on a comp holding all the star movement.
