    David:

I’m on Prospect. The same fix? I’ve had some issues as well – bought CS2 with free CS3 upgrade and couldn’t convert files over easily and not seeing the same thing in the preview when it is stopped or playing. My video card is an Nvidia 7900. Is there a link to instructions to try or just go straight to support?

    Thanks,
    Jerry

Use the NVidia overaly controls to calibrate the video output levels. Normally NVidia defaults to the saturation increased %14, and the gamma off. Really it is a NVidia support issue, particularly as that make their pretty GUI nearly impossible to use. If you go call NVIdia support, ask them way they overlay doesn’t match the default RGB levels. 🙂

P.S. New software versions of all our Products where posted today.

I cannot find an update for Prospect. Is there a link?

Your link to cineform.com in the last post doesn’t work.

I found the 2.2.1 installers for Prospect. Why the 3? What’s the difference?

    David,
I just added last night a new picture showing the
greening that occurs. It has a frame from the cineformHD
export in the source window of PPro and the original
file from HDLink in the program window. There is clearly
a color change that occurs and since both windows are
open at the same time(one bad and one good) the Nvidia
    card shouldn’t be an issue.

I updated my support ticket with this info, but no
    feedback yesterday.

You have to request the Prospect HD update link from here
    https://www.cineform.com/products/Downloads/UpdatePHDStart.htm

I just tried it and it is working fine. New version is 3.1.2 build 139

Please work with support as we are not seeing this. Also it is completely possible for the one and only overlay surface to be used for one window and direct RGB on the other. So it could still be NVidia issues.

    David,
Just so you know, I filed a ticket with support
Wednesday night. I just wanted to give you some
feedback since you’ve been helpful here on the forum. I
didn’t realize though that only one overlay could be used.
    Hmmm….
The only problem with that thought is when I put the
microsoft uncrompress(exported moive) output up in the
source window, it looks just like the HDLink original file….

It is probably something strange with my machine and
yes I have filed a ticket, awaiting response. Just
posting here to keep you informed….

    Thanks again for the comments.
