  Can’t create 3d postcard from layer

  I’m trying to create some 3d postcards from several layers (one per each layer) but as soon as I hit “New 3d postcard from layer” in the 3D menu, the image disappears, yet when I click in the diffuse channel the image is there as a .psb file. So far I haven’t been able to keep it in the original 3d layer in order to continue with the 3d workflow, anyone knows what’s going on?
