I made the mistake of nesting a bunch of clips so that I could put a timecode generator on them to pass back to a client for review. Once I got the list of edits, I cut the actual nested clips and put them together. Now I can’t seem to make any changes to the audio because all of my clips appear to be part of a nested sequence. Is there anyway to “unnest” these clips so that I can make individual changes to them without having to pull the source clip?

Yeah…! Just double-click the nest and copy the clips to your timeline or a new timeline. And you do know that you can edit the audio inside of a nest, right?

yeah, I knew that. I just had so much footage inside the nest that it’s kind of a pain to go and locate each small section that needs to be tweaked. but thanks for the input!!!
